Fox News routinely describes these invaders as "children". |
Conservatives, Libertarians, and Constitutionalists clearly understand the threat posed by Obama, his Socialists, and the propaganda outlets that support them (CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Nation, etc.). Unfortunately, many are so outraged by Obama's evil antics that they completely miss another equally deadly threat, primarily because they've been tricked into believing that the people behind it are on their side. It reduces to this:
- Obama and the Socialists are Evil, but incompetent.
- The Fascist "neoconservatives" are both Evil and Insane!
Here's the bottom line. Unless you are a big government empire-building interventionist, neoconservatives do not share your values and they are not your friends! Consider the evidence carefully.
Russia and the Ukraine
On July 24th, just four days ago, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Martin Dempsey, a Four Star General and the highest ranking officer in the US Military, spoke before the Aspen Security Forum in Aspen Colorado where he said the following:
You’ve got a Russian government that has made a conscious decision to use its military force inside another sovereign nation to achieve its objectives. It’s the first time since 1939 or so that that’s been the case. They clearly are on a path to assert themselves differently not just in Eastern Europe, but Europe in the main, and towards the United States. What an incredible thing to say! Self-evidently, as the surviving people of Panama, Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria will attest, the United States government "has made a conscious decision to use its military force inside another sovereign nation to achieve its objectives" many times since 1939.
It is possible to wonder what could have possessed General Dempsey to say such a thing. The answer is very simple. Neoconservatives are crazy and they lie a lot. They believe, by the way, that a nuclear war is "winnable" and possibly worth fighting. Proof of their insanity is well illustrated by a 2002 comment attributed to a ranking neoconservative, former Bush advisor Karl Rove, by Ron Suskind of the New York Times.
The aide [Rove] said that guys like me [Suskind] were ”in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who ”believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. [Rove] cut me off. ”That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. ”We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”If you would like a more complete understanding of how neoconservatives got this way, please select the "Who Killed the Republican Party" link at the bottom of this page.
The Border Invasion Crisis
Graham said if Republicans let the status quo stand and hope illegal immigrants leave the United States because of poor conditions, they will obliterate their chances of winning the White House in two years. “If we keep playing this game that self deportation is the only answer for the Republican Party, we will have destroyed our chances in 2016 and dealt a death blow to our party because by 2050 the majority of the country is going to be African American, Hispanic and Asian,” he said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”Neoconservatives were working hard for "a pathway to citizenship"--right up until Eric Cantor, the neoconservatives' hand picked House Majority Leader, suffered a stunning defeat in his June 10 primary because of his support for slow motion amnesty. After Cantor's defeat, pro-amnesty neoconservative politicians (except for Graham who lagged behind because he is a slow learner) headed for the tall grass. John Boehner went so far as to announce that "immigration reform was dead for this year", that is, until after the fall election. Fox News, however, continues to do its job. It unfailingly describes the illegal alien invasion as "a humanitarian crisis on our border" and never misses an opportunity to call the invaders "children", even though as many as 90% are teenage males older than 14, some of whom are known to be MS-13 drug cartel gang members as are shown in the photograph at the top of the page. Rupert Murdoch, the neoconservative owner of Fox News, is a long time and enthusiastic supporter of slow motion amnesty.
The Impeach Obama Movement
Rank and file Republicans are puzzled and frustrated by across-the-board resistance from GOP neoconservatives to the growing public demand for President Obama's impeachment, particularly given the many clearly impeachable "high crimes and misdemeanors" he has committed and continues to commit. The Party's virtual abandonment of what neoconservatives deride as "secondary social issues" (abortion, homosexuality, and gun control) is inexplicable to them. So is the GOP leadership's flaccid resistance to "Obamacare" and its lack of enthusiasm for any serious effort to repeal this tremendously unpopular legislation. All of this makes sense once you understand the neoconservative world view.
Impeachment of the President might be dangerous because neoconservatives are guilty of the same "high crimes and misdemeanors" and worse. Obama's impeachment might remind too many people of their own unsavory history. Moreover, they have no problem with an Imperial Presidency. They just want the Imperial President to be their Imperial President, the better to grow the Empire.
Neoconservatives regard social issues as a distraction from their main focus: the growth of government internally and the growth of the Empire abroad.
Finally, neoconservatives have no philosophical objection to "Obamacare", other than its incompetent design and implementation. Beyond that, the program's continued existence gives them another platform from which to launch phony attacks on "Socialism". The extent of the Republican Party's fraudulent fecklessness is exposed as soon as one understands that the GOP's House majority gives it the power to stop Obama's program, including "Obamacare", dead in its tracks. It doesn't matter what the Senate passes and the President signs. Unless and until the House appropriates the funds necessary to proceed, no money can be made available for implementation. "Obamacare" has a special problem in that regard. The Supreme Court in its infinite wisdom has decided that "Obamacare" is Constitutional because it is a allegedly a tax. Very well. The Constitution requires that all tax bills originate in the House of Representatives. The Obamacare legislation originated in the Senate. That alone makes its passage, signing, and enforcement illegal under the Constitution. What's more, the GOP leadership, along with the rest of the political and legal establishment, knows it.
