Open Letter to the GOP Establishment Care of Paul Ryan

Dear Mr. Speaker:

It appears that you have taken down the Speaker's e-mail address and simultaneously made it impossible for anyone but residents of Wisconsin's 1st District to reach you through your House of Representative's e-mail account. This may have prevented meltdown of the Congressional e-mail server but it confirms your smug disdain for the wishes of American voters. So did your interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, excerpts from which are shown below.

Washington (CNN) House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday he cannot yet support presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump's presidential campaign. 

"I'm just not ready to do that at this point. I'm not there right now," the Wisconsin Republican told CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper" in an interview.... 

Ryan said he hopes to eventually back Trump and "to be a part of this unifying process." The first moves, though, must come from Trump, he said. 

Really, Mr. Speaker? Millions of American voters have totally rejected the Republican Establishment agenda and you think "the first move" in a "unifying process" must come from Trump? What pretentious, pompous gall! The GOP establishment agenda is dead, Mr. Ryan and, what is more, it deserves to be dead.

The GOP gained control of the House of Representatives in 2010 and of the Senate in 2015. Because the Constitution requires that all money bills originate in the House, you and your Republican peers have had the power to halt the Obama agenda in its tracks through the appropriation process for nearly six years. You failed to do so. The reason that Trump has prevailed against all comers is because the American people have rejected the GOP establishment program that has been on display since 2010 including:

• Its aggressive interventionism.
• Its purposeful inaction on illegal immigration.
• Its enthusiastic support for so-called "free trade" agreements that have destroyed millions of middle-class American jobs and undermined the U.S. economy.
• Its use of Omnibus Spending Bills to provide stealth funding for everything from Obamacare to debt limit expansion.

Trump would be insane to take one step toward mollifying this corrupt gang of double-dealing self-servers. By the way, the strength of the Bernie Sanders insurgency, the accompanying drop in the numbers of voters in the Democrat primary, and the large numbers of Democrats who crossed over to vote for Donald Trump strongly suggests that the Democrat wing of the establishment party is also at extreme risk.

I urge you to resign, Mr. Ryan. If the Republican Party is to survive, it must rid itself of the toxic neo-conservatives and globalist RINOs who currently sit atop its national leadership and instead focus on America First policies that will truly make America great again.

Where Do You Stand In The War Against God?

Thanks to the candidacies of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, the American people are learning to their shock that their vote in national elections is meaningless. Both political parties stand exposed as tools of an establishment oligarchy that intends to hold onto its power at all costs. 

Nor is that oligarchy's lust for power confined to the political arena. It is now marshalling every judicial, political, and social weapon at its disposal to convince Americans that homosexuality is a normal and admirable behavior and to require that so-called "gay unions" be treated as the moral and social equivalent of marriage between a man and a woman. 

The U.S. Supreme Court's ill-conceived and completely unconstitutional 2015 ruling in favor of same-sex marriage nationwide fostered a reaction of stunned disbelief among millions of Americans. Around the country, state legislatures enacted statutes designed to allow religious conviction exemptions to the public accommodation requirements resulting from the ruling. The very courageous Phil Bryant, Governor of Mississippi, signed a religious freedom bill this week to "protect sincerely held religious beliefs and moral convictions of individuals, organizations and private associations from discriminatory action by state government." 

The ACLU and all of the usual suspects on the Left immediately exploded, of course. But so did the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Major League Baseball, MGM Resorts International, Nissan, Toyota, Tyson Foods and others. These organizations threaten to withdraw popular sporting events and impose other sanctions on any state or municipality that fails to enforce their apparent belief that homosexual sodomy is the sacramental equivalent of Christian marriage. The boards and executive managers of these publicly-held corporations are waging a war against religion and traditional morality. They should be exposed to the truth, given an opportunity to recant, and then suffer a nation-wide boycott of their products and services should they refuse to withdraw their threats. They are putting their companies' resources and reputations at the disposal of a movement that is advancing a lethal lie. 

The homosexual lobby's propaganda campaign, now more than 25 years in duration, has been remarkably successful.  A very significant percentage of Americans under the age of 50, has been conditioned to believe that as many as one-third of the population is "gay". This belief is understandable since virtually every television drama, comedy or documentary series produced by the establishment media manages to include one or more homosexuals among the cast. It is also entirely false.

The CDC (National Centers for Disease Control) in its National Health Statistics Reports, Number 77, published July 15, 2014, "Sexual Orientation and Health Among U.S. Adults: National Health Interview Survey, 2013" exposes the extent of the Lie. 

Based on the 2013 NHIS data, 96.6% of adults identified as straight, 1.6% identified as gay or lesbian, and 0.7% identified as bisexual. The remaining 1.1% of adults identified as ‘‘something else,’’ stated ‘‘I don’t know the answer,’’ or refused to provide an answer. Significant differences were found in health-related behaviors, health status, health care service utilization, and health care access among U.S. adults aged 18–64 who identified as straight, gay or lesbian, or bisexual.

That's right. Less than 2% of the American population self-identifies as "gay" or lesbian! Homosexual behavior is, by definition, not "normal".

Why should we care? Does it really matter? 

Yes. It matters because the campaign to legitimize homosexualty is part of an organized effort to destroy moral standards of behavior. It matters because the homosexual agenda is an attack on the family, the basic building block upon which our entire culture rests. It matters because it is an assault on reason. One's sex is determined by chromosomes, not one's "opinion". It matters because the admitted hyper-promiscuity that typifies the behavior of at least one quarter of the homosexual population poses a grave threat to public health.  It matters because It is an assault on the biological purpose of sex and, ultimately, on the survival of the human race. 

I was in graduate school in 1973 when, against the advice of experts in the treatment of homosexuals, the American Psychological Association's board sent a letter to members asking them to vote to remove homosexuality from the catalogue of disorders. I remember the event well because it became my lot to debate this topic, an assignment that necessitated considerable research. The APA’s letter was not based on any new medical or scientific information. It was written and funded by a lobbying group called the National Gay Task Force. The vote was a political act against bourgeois morality undertaken by a thoroughly radicalized APA.

In fact, the APA ignored its own definitions and diagnostic criteria in voting to “normalize” homosexuality.  Before 1973, mental health professionals treated homosexuality as a paraphilia, a deviant sexual behavior in the same category as necrophilia, pedophilia, and bestiality. In this model, homosexuals are defined as those who engage in homosexual behavior just as smokers are defined by habitual smoking; alcoholics by habitually-excessive drinking; and anorexics by their defining behaviors. Even today, after more than 40 years of PC polishing, a paraphilia is defined as “Any of a group of psychosexual disorders characterized by sexual fantasies, feelings, or activities involving a nonhuman object, a nonconsenting partner such as a child, or pain or humiliation of oneself or one's partner.” Sexual addiction is defined as “A condition in which some form of sexual behavior is employed in a pattern that is characterized by two key features: 1) recurrent failure to control the sexual behavior, and 2) continuation of the sexual behavior despite significant harmful consequences.” Homosexuality, let it be noted, qualifies as a paraphilia in every respect.

In the years following its 1973 APA victory, the homosexual lobby has convinced much of the public that the black Civil Rights model applies to its cause. It effectively sold the notion that homosexuality is a matter of status, not behavior. This concept is foundational to the debate because it leads to the belief that one is homosexual in the same way that one is black, or female, or tall. By insinuating the propaganda term "homophobia" into the popular culture's language, the lobby was able to successfully mass market the idea that failure to embrace homosexuality is both irrational and bigoted. In the popular culture, homosexuality and "heterosexuality" are now perceived to be co-equal matters of "sexual preference".  This is false, unfortunate, and dangerous. Despite a veritable blizzard of pro-homosexual propaganda, there is no credible scientific evidence capable of being replicated by disinterested investigators to suggest that homosexuality is anything other than a maladaptive obsessive-compulsive behavioral disorder that often kills its practitioners. 

Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty was accused a few years ago, among other things, of using coarse and crude language to describe homosexuality in his interview with GQ magazine. Perhaps he did so because anal sex, the primary homosexual act, is not only coarse and crude, but grossly unsanitary as well. The human anus is not a sex organ. However, it is host to dangerous colonies of pathogens, including but not limited to the HIV virus. That inescapable anatomical fact, plus the brutal mechanics of homosexuality's defining behavior and its all too frequent accompanying pattern of hyper-promiscuity, is why male homosexuals were disproportionately afflicted with syphilis and other STDs even before the AIDS epidemic decimated their ranks. It becomes hard to argue that the irresponsible behavior of people who habitually place themselves and their partners at risk by engaging in promiscuous anal sex should be regarded with favor by society at large.

For the time being, the Gods of Political Correctness are smiling on the homosexual lobby. The usual suspects are busily scurrying about to gain legitimacy for “gay marriage” whether through legislation or judicial fiat. At the same time large employers, including city and state governments, are granting “domestic partners” full employee benefits, including health insurance. Alas, actuarial tables have a way of being unforgiving and no amount of propaganda can change the fact that the average life expectancy of homosexual males is about 45 years. That is largely because, according to published data in refereed journals, between one-quarter and one-third of active male homosexuals report sexual encounters with as many as 200 anonymous partners per year. This “recurrent failure to control sexual behavior” often leads to death from AIDS (surely a “significant harmful consequence”). Even those homosexuals in so-called “committed relationships” are not necessarily in monogamous relationships. Many of them simply have a “favorite” primary partner of the moment.

Had news organizations only reported facts instead of propaganda designed to mislead, an informed public debate might have developed on this topic. As it is, in only a few short years the health care cost of this mindless pandering is going to be very high for insurers, other employees, and taxpayers. If there is any justice, there will be a political price as well for the politicians and corporate leaders who have taken us down this road.

The Official Republican Establishment's Last Betrayal!

The Republican Establishment at Work!

NOTE: This article was first published back in 2013 under the title "Who Killed the Republican Party" after an earlier series of betrayals of the American people. Then as now the betrayers were neoconservative jackals. They have been working stealthily for more than 30 years to subvert the conservative movement and hijack the Republican Party. Now this gang of collectivist thugs is trying to destroy Donald Trump in their desperate effort to hang on to power. These people are not now nor have they ever been "conservatives" in the sense most Americans use the term. For that matter, most Americans are not "conservatives" either. Conservatives, by definition, want to keep things as they are. Most Americans, as Trump's huge following proves, are not at all interested in keeping the status quo. They are small government traditionalists who believe in God, truth, and individual liberty and who want to preserve the future for their children and grandchildren. Far from wanting to "conserve" the current order, Americans want to bring it down and restore peace, prosperity, tradition, individual responsibility and freedom. For their part, the neoconservatives are the collectivist enemies of everything Trump supporters want to achieve. They believe in big government, moral relativism, and perpetual war as a way to secure power. They pose an existential threat to peace and to what little remains of American liberty. They are absolutely evil and their treachery cannot be allowed to prevail. This article is being republished now in the hope it will help the people understand the nature of the internal enemy we are facing. Given the rise of Donald Trump and the violence threatened by his enemies, it is as timely now as it was in 2013.

The GOP's "conservative base" is frustrated, angry and confused. It appears to many that almost overnight the Republican Party somehow morphed into a "socialist light" version of the Democrat Party. They watch in baffled disbelief as the GOP's national leadership systematically betrays cherished principles and abandons the pursuit of pro-life, pro-Constitution, and limited government policies. Even as Obama launches a full scale frontal attack on the Second Amendment, the leadership of the GOP, including prominent Republican Senators and Members of Congress stand silent and unengaged. How did this happen?

Shocked and dispirited Republican true believers are painfully experiencing the truth of Mark Twain's observation, "It ain't what you don't know that'll hurt you. It's what you know for sure that ain't so!" Despite what passionate partisans desperately want to believe, the Republican Party is not a stalwart defender of Constitutional principals and free market economics. The GOP and the Democrat Party have operated as wings of a single political party, the Washington Party, for many decades. Neither wing has the slightest interest in the Constitution which today is trotted out only when necessary to mollify flyover country rubes. Neither has the slightest interest in controlling spending. Both are fully-invested in the Welfare/Warfare State.

Most Americans, busy raising families and earning livings, are only marginally interested in the daily behind-the-scenes machinations that define Washington's political landscape. Because it received almost no coverage in the popular press or television news outlets, only a few know of the decades-long war waged beneath the surface for the Republican Party's soul, a war ultimately lost by traditional conservatives. Fewer still understand the motives of the combatants or appreciate the impact of that struggle's outcome on today's political scene.

In the 1950s a small group of Trotskyite intellectuals became disenchanted with aspects of Marxism and began a philosophic migration away from communism. The new movement paused briefly at the "Scoop" Jackson/Hubert Humphrey faction of the Democratic Party before selecting the Republican Party as its final host. The migration was led by Irving Kristol and Leo Strauss, the intellectual fathers of neoconservatism.

Kristol, father of The Weekly Standard's Bill Kristol, was Managing Editor of Commentary Magazine from 1947 to 1952 and Professor of Social Thought at the New York University Graduate School of Business from 1969 to 1988. Since 1988 he has been ensconced as a Distinguished Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Strauss, who died in 1973, was a Political Science Professor at the University of Chicago for most of his career. Unfortunately for those who value Constitutional government, Kristol, Strauss, and their acolytes brought a lot of socialist baggage with them when they "came over" to conservatism.

To provide some context, it is important to understand that the Reagan Coalition was not a movement so much as it was an expedient alliance of people united by a shared opposition to Communism and the Welfare State. That alliance included traditionalists, constitutionalists, libertarians, social conservatives, and militant nationalists. When the Soviet Union imploded, so did most of the Reagan Coalition's cohesion. Today the tattered remnant is barely held together through an uneasy collaboration of fiscal conservatives, Eastern establishment liberals and, of course, the neoconservatives.

Traditional conservatives never really understood the power of propaganda, naively believing that facts and logic would carry the day. They even allowed neoconservatives to define the terms under which the battle for control of the GOP would be waged. The very labels that the neoconservatives assigned to the combatants (neoconservative and paleoconservative) served the neoconservative purpose. Those labels conferred an undeserved legitimacy on neoconservatism, creating the illusion that a symmetrical division existed within the body of conservatism when, in fact, that which calls itself neoconservativism is not conservative at all.

The first overt volley fired on behalf of the neoconservatives in the War for the GOP's soul was an article appearing in National Review on March 16, 1992, entitled "In Pursuit of Anti-Semitism Chapter II." The article was a long, rambling, and utterly dishonest attack on the editorial positions of Joe Sobran and Pat Buchanan occasioned by their reasoned disagreement with American policy toward Israel. Sobran and Buchanan were accused of anti-Semitism, a canard reminiscent of Jesse Jackson's frequent allegations of racism against those who opposed Welfare State social policies. At the time I could not understand the motive for this completely unwarranted hit piece. The article's blatant falseness and unfairness so infuriated me that I cancelled my subscription, one that had been in effect since undergraduate school.

In hindsight, the motive has become obvious. The smear campaign against Sobran and Buchanan was the opening gambit in the process of "redefining" conservatism. By discrediting the most prominent and effective spokesmen for traditional conservatism, potential impediments to that redefinition would be neutralized. By the way, that many neoconservatives are Jews is true but irrelevant. The neocons use this demographic fact to vaccinate themselves against opposition by playing the "anti-Semitic" card whenever their policy preferences are challenged. The tactic is intellectually dishonest and illogical but it has certainly been effective.

For those who wonder how in the name of God's Green Earth "conservatism" ever came to mean support for an explosive increase in domestic federal spending, the expansion of welfare state programs, federalization of local and state issues, warrantless surveillance, executive branch dominance, Wilsonian global intervention, and endless war, it is only necessary to understand the blatant and unblinking arrogance that is among neoconservatism's defining hallmarks. As none other than Irving Kristol wrote unabashedly in The Neoconservative Persuasion, "...one can say that the historical task and political purpose of neoconservatism would seem to be this: to convert the Republican party, and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills[emphasis added], into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to governing a modern democracy."

That quote should send chills down the spine of every American who reads it. In a single sentence one of neoconservatism's founding fathers arrogantly admits his intention to "redefine" the politics of GOP and conservatism itself (whether Republicans and conservatives like it or not) and demonstrates his eagerness to consign the American constitution to history's ash heap in favor of "modern democracy."

Kristol, Strauss, and their disciples are moral relativists who share a disregard for truth that is nearly as great as their disdain for the essential American idea of individual liberty. Kristol wrote, "There are different kinds of truths for different kinds of people. There are truths appropriate for children; truths that are appropriate for students; truths that are appropriate for educated adults; and truths that are appropriate for highly educated adults, and the notion that there should be one set of truths available to everyone is a modern democratic fallacy. It doesn't work."

On the role of the State, Kristol is quite open. He wrote, "Neocons do not feel that kind of alarm or anxiety about the growth of the state in the past century, seeing it as natural, indeed inevitable. Because they tend to be more interested in history than economics or sociology, they know that the 19th-century idea, so neatly propounded by Herbert Spencer in his "The Man Versus the State," was a historical eccentricity."

For his part, Strauss wrote an entire book ("Natural Right and History") praising what he called the political realism of the ancients who denied that there was any natural human right to liberty or truth. He was especially taken with Plato's discourses on "noble Lies." Strauss implicitly believed, as did Plato, that "noble Lies" were essential to stable government because they gave the people meaning and purpose. Strauss also believed that secrecy is necessary tool for ruling elites. In "Persecution and the Art of Writing", he explained that "the wise" must conceal their motives and actions in order to protect themselves from uprisings and reprisals.

If you wonder what has happened to the Republican Party and to conservatism, understand that neoconservatives remain ascendant within and close to the power structure of the GOP. Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Lewis Libby, Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Elliott Abrams, Zalmay Khalilzad, John Bolton, Philip Zelikow, former Attorneys General Alberto Gonzales, and Michael Mukasey are numbered among them. Neoconservatives also control much of what passes for the conservative media including The Fox News Channel, The Washington Times, The Weekly Standard, National Review, the editorial pages of The Wall Street Journal and most of putatively conservative Talk Radio.

So there you have it. According to the prolific written admissions of the movement's founders, neoconservatives are purposeful liars and incipient totalitarians who hold the American people and their traditions in absolute contempt. Today they control much of the national GOP's internal workings. How much do you appreciate where the neocons have taken "the Republican party, and American conservatism...against their respective wills?"

TRUMPED!

This is not an election. It is a revolution!

Donald Trump has become the focal point of the 2016 primary election campaign. Trump and the nonstop establishment attacks against him dominate the news cycle. However, the real story is that millions of self-identified Republicans have rejected establishment candidates to vote for Trump. Even more remarkable is the fact, virtually unreported by the Mainstream Press, that millions of blue collar voters who previously voted as Democrats or Independents have crossed party lines to do the same thing.

The numbers don't lie. In the first four contests of the 2016 election seasons (Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada), Republican participation grew by more than 28% while Democrat participation dropped by 20%. People who chose to vote Republican in those contests outnumbered those who chose to vote Democrat by 415,767. This has never happened before and portends a political earthquake of transforming proportions. To put it in perspective, Obama won the 2008 presidential election with a popular vote total of 69,498,516. Assume for a moment that Hillary Clinton becomes the Democrat candidate and somehow manages to match Obama's 2008 vote total (she won't). If the current trajectory continues Donald Trump's national popular vote total will crush her by more than 7,100,000 votes!

The GOP establishment persists in its doomed efforts to maintain its grip on power. "Donald Trump is not a conservative" the GOP establishment chants. Marco Rubio says so. Lindsay Graham says so. John McCain says so. Mitt Romney says so. So did Jeb Bush and his brother, George W. They are correct. Donald J. Trump is not a conservative...but neither are they. 

Real conservatives would have used the House of Representatives' power of the purse to stop Obamacare cold along with illegal immigration and every other unconstitutional scheme put forward by Obama during the years that the GOP has controlled the House. Congressional GOP leaders failed to do so because they wanted to keep the promises made to big insurance companies and large employers regarding profit protection and cheap labor (crony capitalism at work). Instead, believing the America people were too stupid to see what they were doing, they used "omnibus spending bills" to avoid "shutting down the government", a transparently obvious device that allowed them to escape the consequences of their actions.

Pat Buchanan may well be the last national politician standing who could honestly claim the conservative label. Real conservatives believe in traditional morality (including the sanctity of marriage), the constitution, the free market, the Bill of Rights, the right to life, genuine capitalism, national sovereignty (with America First) and a strong national defense. 

In contrast, the clique of so-called "neo-conservatives" who hijacked the conservative "brand" back in the Middle 1980s (and the Republican Party in the 30 years that followed) believe in international empire building, moral relativism, open borders (amnesty with "a path toward citizenship"), crony capitalism, big government involvement in everything from "health care" to education and "Israel First". I have no problem with Israel's need to defend herself but, when Marco Rubio trumpets his fealty to Israel, he sounds as though he is running for President of the Knesset, not President of the United States. 

So Donald J. Trump is not a "conservative" but he is an honest, business-savvy American Nationalist with traditionalist leanings who understands the need to preserve American culture and our civil institutions. Trump isn't perfect and can certainly be crude. However, he doesn't pretend to "know everything", and isn't afraid to admit it when he makes a mistake. As an executive, he is accustomed to surrounding himself with the right people when specialized knowledge is required.

The American people are sick of Washington's lies. They know that they've been conned. They have finally awakened to the realization that the bi-partisan Welfare/Warfare State is a criminal enterprise that has been robbing them blind and lying to them. It is time to clean out the barn.

Beware The Ides of March, Mr. Trump!

The Ides of March (March 15th) has long been associated with momentous events that changed the course of history,  For example:

• In 44 B.C., Roman Emperor Julius Caesar was assassinated by Brutus.
• Czar Nicholas II of Russia abdicated his throne on March 15, 1917 ushering in Communist rule. The Czar and his family were taken captive and executed by firing squad the following year.
• On March 15, 1939, Nazi troops seized the provinces of Bohemia and Moravia, effectively wiping Czechoslovakia off the map.

"The Donald" has filled the establishment Republican Wing of the Washington Party with shock and awe as he charges through the Republican Primaries, leaving a debris field littered with shattered illusions in his wake. Assuming Trump is real, it is wonderful to watch them stammer. Is Trump real? I don't pretend to know but he sure has all the right enemies.

The Washington Party's Democrat Wing has its own equally-hilarious problems. From out of nowhere, 74-year-old Bernie Sanders, Vermont's Socialist Senator, is offering a serious challenge to the Establishment Democrat's heir apparent, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Perhaps more importantly. although not often mentioned, participation in the process on the Democrat Side is down by more than thirty percent from 2012 levels.

These developments amount to a political revolution and pose a significant threat to civil peace. The Establishment Oligarchs who have run the Welfare/Warfare State since at least the end of World War II are unlikely to surrender their power and go peacefully into the dark night.

The Trump candidacy in paticular is a "Black Swan" event of the first magnitude,

This term was popularized by Nassim Nicholas Taleb's book "The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable."  Mr Taleb is a finance professor and former Wall Street trader.

Mr Taleb suggests his idea has been misunderstood. The problem, he told the CFA Institute in 2008, is not that black swans occur often.  Rather, it is that they have truly catastrophic and unpredictable effects when they do happen, and so risk managers should concentrate on guarding against them [emphasis added]. 

Here's the problem.

The Establishment has a very small and rapidly narrowing window of opportunity to stop Trump's brazen charge. March 1st is "Super Tuesday". On that date, twelve U.S. states and one U.S. Territory will select delegates to each party's respective nominating convention. Then, on March 15th, six large U.S. states will select their delegates.

The very bi-partisan Establishment acts as though Trump's campaign poses an existential threat to its hold on power and that may very well be the case. They feel as though they must stop him but if Trump's momentum hasn't been checked by March 15th, he will be nearly impossible to stop --by political means.

Be very careful, Mr. Trump. Your enemies truly have very few scruples.

Gun Control: An Incipient Tyranny's Desperate Last Stand

 

Something big is about to happen.

The governing establishment sees it coming, is terrified of the people, and desperately wants them disarmed. It really isn't hard to understand why that would be the case. After all, if your power and wealth depended upon lying to the people, abolishing their freedom, destroying their livelihoods, and sending their sons and daughters off to die in pointless wars, would you want them to have weapons?

The American people are buying guns and ammunition in record numbers in absolute defiance of a massive and coordinated gun control propaganda campaign. According to The New York Times, gun sales haven’t just been spiking after the San Bernardino terror attack. More Americans had their backgrounds checked to buy guns on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) than any other single day on record. Some 185,345 had their backgrounds checked on that day alone, a 5 percent increase from the year before. Gun sales are on a trajectory to set an all time national annual record.

The people are increasingly angry and fed up. In June of last year, the Gallup polling organization reported that Americans' confidence in all three branches of the U.S. government had fallen, reaching record lows for the Supreme Court (30%) and Congress (7%), and a six-year low for the presidency (29%). The presidency had the largest drop of the three branches, down seven points from its previous rating of 36%.  Then, just last month, a Pew Research Center poll found that 27 percent of registered voters think of government as an enemy, up 8 points since 1996. If those poll results aren't ringing alarm bells throughout the halls of power in Washington, they should be. These are pre-revolutionary numbers.

Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda once said, "Repeat a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth." When it comes to advancing the gun control agenda, the establishment is a one-trick pony that follows Goebbels advice to the letter: It launches a blizzard of lies and then depends upon its reliably-controlled "news" and entertainment media to disseminate them. Here are some of the most recent examples.

All of these, except for the last, amount to fairly standard "gun control" distortions. All of them suffer from the same problems and are easily discredited by real data as will be seen shortly.

There is, of course, no such thing as "gun violence". Neither is there "knife violence", nor "ax violence", nor "club violence". Inanimate objects do not commit violence. People do that. Guns, like knives, axes, and clubs, are inanimate objects without any volition. No one has ever been murdered by an inanimate object. Many are murdered with inanimate objects (including guns)--but the killings are always committed by people. The term "gun violence" is a propaganda device intended to divert attention from a real problem that its politically correct inventors need desperately to prevent the public from considering, about which more shortly.

With respect to the Washington Post headline, these deliberately misleading figures come from a ferociously anti-gun web site called ShootingTracker.com. The site conflates "mass shootings" with "mass killings". Included in the count are gang shootings, robberies and other violent outbreaks that do not result in fatalities. It is ironic that most of these "mass shootings" are suffered by the unfortunate residents of Chicago (the President's home town) and other urban locations which have been controlled by anti-gun Democrat administrations f,or decades. Apparently, "Black Lives Do Not Matter", when the mayor is a Democrat.

The anti-gun Left is and has always been completely out of touch with reality. Consider (1) its continued focus on "gun violence" instead of overall violence; (2) its insistence that semi-automatic rifles are "assault weapons";  (3) its continued claim that the U.S. has an unusually high murder rate; and (4) its repeated assertion that the widespread private ownership of firearms is responsible for the murder rate. The facts are readily available to anyone who cares to look for them and they still are not being accurately reported by the establishment media.

The U.S. homicide rate per 100,000 population has been dropping since 1993 and is now at its lowest level since 1968! Exceptions are cities which have the tightest restrictions on the private ownership of firearms such as Obama's Chicago.  (See FBI-Uniform Crime Reports.)

The U.S. homicide rate (murders per 100,000 population) ranks 108th of the 207 countries for which data are reported according to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime’s most recent report (see http://www.unodc.org/). All countries reporting higher murder rates than the U.S. require firearm registration and have very restrictive (virtually prohibitive) licensing requirements. Bear in mind that these data are from “the most recent year reported” and are subject to change as new information is added.

Gun ownership data comes from http://www.gunpolicy.org/. Although the U.S. leads the world in per capita ownership of firearms, more than one-half of the countries in the world have a higher murder rate than the United States, many of them much higher. If private firearms ownership “causes” murder, the U.S. murder rate should be the highest by far. It’s not even close.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. reported 14,196 murders in 2013, continuing a decline that has been occurring since 1993. To put these data in perspective, had the U.S. experienced El Salvador’s homicide rate, there would have been 218,039 murders and yet private firearms ownership is 15.3 times that of El Salvador! Greenland’s rate applied to our population would have resulted in 60,496 murders. In the face of these data, it is impossible to honestly believe that there is any meaningful correlation between private gun ownership and national murder rates.

It is also absolutely clear that the propensity to commit murder (and the probability of being murdered) is not equally distributed among the U.S. population. Black Americans kill and are killed at eight times the rate observed in the rest of the population. Again, see FBI-Uniform Crime Reports. The effect of this unequal distribution on the national murder rate is enormous. When the black murder rate is “normalized” to those levels observed in the rest of the U.S. population, the U.S. murder rate is cut virtually in half and falls close to rates seen in Western Europe and Canada. These data do not support the idea that there exists any causal relationship between national murder rates and private firearm ownership. These data make the Washington political establishment very nervous. The attack on the Second Amendment serves the purpose of diverting attention away from this undeniable but very Politically Incorrect fact, a diversion that may well be deliberate.

The mass killing at San Bernardino appear to be the result of a terrorist attack. The mass killings at Columbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora, Sandy Hook and Roseburg are of a very different type and the perpetrators have very different motivations although every single one of them took place in a "gun free zone", assuring the perpetrators of an unlimited supply of defenseless victims. Unlike the street killings that account for most U.S. murders in which black Americans are disproportionately both victims and killers, in mass killing incidents the killers tend to be White or Asian male mental patients. There are reasons for that difference which the political establishment absolutely refuses to consider.

Prior to 1968, there were virtually no mass killings in the United States and it was possible for anyone to purchase any legal fire arm with no background check. Guns could be mail-ordered from catalog stores such as Sears Roebuck, Montgomery Wards, JC Penny, or Spiegels and they would be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. Then, beginning in the decade of the 1970s,  the U.S. experienced a dramatic increase in the number of mass killings. Two factors accompanied that increase and both warrant exploration.

Throughout the 1970s, mental health care reform emptied out the state mental hospitals and made it much more difficult to have dangerous mental patients involuntarily committed for treatment.

Then, in 1987, the “anti-depressant” PROZAC was approved and widely prescribed followed by ZOLOFT, PAXIL and other SSRI drugs. Known side effects include suicide ideation and violent behavior. Most—if not all—of the mass killers from 1980 on were taking one or more of these drugs.

There is simply no demonstrable causal relationship between the private ownership of firearms and murder. In fact, despite an explosion in new gun sales, the trends shown on the graph below have actually accelerated.

Immigration: A Nation-Destroying Weapon of War!

Last night's bloody terrorist attacks in Paris should send alarm bells ringing all across the county. It's time for action.

Generations of Americans have been taught that state and nation mean the same thing. They do not. A state is a self-governing political entity. A nation is a tightly-knit group of people that share a common culture.

The American people have been deceived into believing that their political state (the United States) was under attack when, in fact, it is the nation's culture and Western Civilization itself that is being systematically destroyed. 

The main problem with immigration for the United States is not economic although politicians in both parties want desperately to make that the only focus. It is not even that illegal immigrants have broken the law. No, the problem is far more serious. Immigration degrades and ultimately destroys our native culture and replaces it with immigrant culture. If immigration is left unchecked, the United States will become a third world country before the decade is out!

Last night's horrific attack in Paris is the inevitable result of Globalist policies. and they bear full responsibility for the deaths and violence that their criminally-insane open borders policies have produced. Unless we immediately obtain control of our borders and expel all illegal immigrants, the violence we will shortly face will be far worse than anything that has happened in France,

While it is true that the American nation was founded by European immigrants, our immigration policy was not driven by an infatuation with "diversity". Post-revolution immigration to the United States took place from in four great waves (1790 to 1820, 1820 to 1860, 1880 to 1914, and 1965 to present). These waves are definable by the nationalities of immigrants and their reasons for immigrating. The 1880 to 1914 immigration wave did include immigrants from  China, Japan, and other Asian countries, but until 1965 the majority of immigrants to the United States were of European origin.

By the way, despite the rabid posturing of pro-immigration politicians in both parties, the illegal immigrant problem can be solved quite easily without forcibly rounding people up and driving them back across the border. All that is necessary is that the U.S. government stop subsidizing the invasion. What does this mean?

• No federal or state benefits of any kind for anyone in the country illegally. That includes school and "health care".
• No employment for anyone in the country illegally and jail time for any employer who knowingly hires illegal immigrants.
• No "sanctuary cities" and jail time for any local government that knowingly impedes deportation efforts.

Once the gravy-train shuts down, millions of illegals will deport themselves.

For the most part, immigrants coming over prior to 1965 came seeking political freedom and economic opportunity. They wanted to be assimilated into the American culture and become "Americans". Then came Lyndon Johnson's 1964 "war on poverty" with its generous welfare state benefits and the nearly simultaneous enactment of The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, the 50th anniversary of which we "celebrate" this year. The old immigration quota system, based on national origin, was abolished and replaced with a new immigration policy based on political correctness. 

The Globalists are intent on achieving the total destruction of all nations, correctly seeing them as competitors for people's loyalty. When they achieve the effective destruction of nations in a region, they move to consolidate their power by establishing a "super state". The European Union serves as their structural template, the next step toward the establishment of a One World Government under Globalist control. As this is written, all of Europe is imploding, collapsing under the weight of a massive wave of anti-Western immigrants. Millions are fleeing Globalist-spawned violence in their homelands

The American nation is next on the block. Globalist efforts to destroy America's national culture are not limited to the political and legal arenas. Media and educational establishments have engaged in decades-long propaganda and re-education campaigns extolling the virtues of "diversity" while demonizing positive references to the majority's national culture, including its Western European ethnic origins, as "racism". That is the motive behind this week's literally insane "anti-racism" campaign on the campus of the University of Missouri which led to the resignation of the University's President and Chancellor,
